Acquisition of Teleste Educational by a group of Finnish Investors. The company's new name is Divace Learning Solutions Ltd.

A group of Finnish equity funds Eqvitec Partners Oy, Aboa Venture Management Oy, the Local Governments Pensions Institution and the management of the Educational division have acquired Teleste Educational from its previous owner, Teleste Oyj.

Along with the change in the ownership structure, the acquired company's name has been changed to Divace Learning Solutions Ltd.

The new owners of Divace Learning Solutions strongly believe that the educational technology market potential, the company's leading position in the market, its unrivalled customer base as well as a wide network of distribution partners and channels create an optimum platform for rapid growth and development.

Divace Learning Solutions looks forward to new opportunities this investment arrangement brings and hopes to maintain and build close relationships with its partners and customers worldwide.

Eqvitec Partners, who manage the Technology Funds, are a private and independent venture capitalist company specialising in investments in technology companies. They manage funds totalling 270 million Euro and they have invested in over 30 technology companies.
Aboa Ventures are a venture capitalist company based in Turku. They have invested in 36 growth companies and manage an investment fund of 25 million Euro.
KEVA represent the pension funds of personnel employed in the local government sector in Finland on whose behalf they hold and manage funds totalling in excess of 12 billion Euro.
Management comprises Raimo Körkkö, Matti Laakso, Ian McDowall, Kyösti Niemelä and Timo Vasankari.

Teleste Corporation divests Educational-business as part of strategic focusing in their core business. Teleste will, however, retain a minority shareholding in the Company which they see as an opportunity to benefit from its future success.

"The educational technology market is growing over 15% per year and Teleste Educational is already one of the leading exporters in software industry in Finland. This market potential together with the company's existing distribution partners and channels create an interesting investment opportunity. This investment arrangement opens for Teleste Educational a significant possibility for growth and internationalisation", states Senior Partner Juha Mikkola of Eqvitec Partners.
